International organ virtuoso David di Fiore returns to the Pacific NW to play this fresh and stunning recital on our 3 manual, 28-rank Balcom & Vaughn/Bosman pipe organ, followed by refreshments. His last performance at Trinity was the dedication recital on our pipe organ.
Mr. di Fiore, originally from Seattle, is currently organist/choirmaster at St. Francis Xavier Cathedral in Banska Bystrica, and organ professor at the Catholic University in Ruzomberok, Slovak Republic. He has recorded and performed at major cathedrals and concert festivals throughout Europe, North America, and Latin America, and is famous for his colorful, dazzling and innovative musical performances. For example, there are entire pieces played almost exclusively on the pedals!
We will have a video screen in the front of the nave so all may watch the performance close up. Donation is by freewill offering (we are hoping to raise extra funds for our choir robes.)
