The Great Vigil of Easter

Saturday, March 31 – The Great Vigil of Easter at 7:30 PM

This is an ancient rite of the Church. This is a sung service, similar to monastic chant settings, during which the new Easter flame and candle will be lit, certain stories of our faith history will be read, and the light of the newly blessed Pascal candle will be spread among the people.  This year, incense will be used at this service, and there will be no Baptisms. This service will be approximately 90 minutes in length.
